Kitty Coutts - Owner // Trencher // Talent Wrangler
Ask any of her fans (aka, clients and colleagues; family and friends, too) and they’ll tell you that Kitty’s a hands-on, creative, passionate, funny, highly-skilled, detailed-oriented, big-picture-thinking, 110% powerhouse who loves pulling together a great team and making things happen. She also has the distinct honor of being the only non-de Young Museum person ever allowed to operate a scissor lift anywhere near its collections. Kitty is a graduate of both the San Francisco Academy of Art and the Never-Rest-Until-It’s-Done-Right School of Business.
Sarah Richen Jordan - Project Manager // Type A+++ // Email Speed Racer
Sarah’s personal motto is “get it done” and, boy, does she ever. She’s been the go-to project manager for retail graphics on some of Sterling’s biggest jobs, including the Nike Women’s Marathon. Sarah has a BA from Pepperdine and a Master’s from the University of San Francisco. She’s also holds a doctorate of sorts in responding to emails as quickly as she gets them. When you call, it’s usually Sarah who answers the phone. Often by the second ring. Sometimes even the first.
Ben Munday - Graphic Designer // Concept Guy // Official Brit
Ben brings more to his role as graphic designer extraordinaire besides a killer English accent. (But it doesn’t hurt.) He’s worked for leading ad agencies in London and New York — think TBWA/CHIAT/DAY, and Lowe — and did a three-year stint as Creative Director at a boutique San Francisco design firm. Needless to say, he knows his way around concept development, from the initial idea stage to the wow-how-cool installation phase.
Lily - Project Supervisor // Napper // Top Dog
Lily has been with Sterling Graphics for her entire 70 years. During that time, she’s busted her chops on numerous projects, from Whole Foods to the Nike Women’s Marathon. She’s built a reputation for staying cool under fire (which, for the uninitiated, is frequently mistaken for sleeping under desks). You call. She comes. Sometimes.
